Update on Water Main Break and Boil Water Notice

Just before noon today, the construction contractor working on the culvert replacement on Holland Drive near Polled Hereford Way struck and broke our 6-inch main line from the pump house to the storage tanks at the top of the hill. As a result, the tanks and pipelines drained down to the point of the break.

We immediately called a contractor, and repairs were completed around 3:30 p.m. As of 5:40 p.m., the tanks are refilling. Most customers should now have water service restored. Please note that water pressure—particularly at the top of the hill—will remain low until the tanks are fully replenished.

If you are still without water, please call or text me at (707) 362-0408.

Because the system lost pressure, we issued a precautionary Boil Water Notice. Water samples will be collected today and tomorrow. If both tests pass, the State may lift the notice as early as Friday or Saturday. I will send another update once the order has been officially lifted.

The water boil notice is available here

Thank you for your patience and understanding—we sincerely apologize for this disruption.
